Open Doors International supports the worldwide organization with services such as Communications, Marketing, People & Culture, Advocacy, IT, Program Management, Finance and Global Research by working in a service-oriented way with teams and colleagues in countries with an Open Doors Development or Field office.
The Global ODI Finance Team is responsible for financial planning, operational excellence and financial transactions. Besides that, they manage Risk & Compliance, Treasury and lead strategic projects. The team has a strong role within the Global Finance Network, supporting Field operations and Development bases.

As a leader you will supervise and direct staff of our ODI bases across the world, such as NL, US and UK. You will work closely with the Global Finance Network and you will provide a strong business partnership to the Board and the Executive Leadership Team.
Your key responsibilities
- Ensure financial data and statements have integrity and are compliant with regulations.
- Deliver a global integrated Financial planning through processes and systems that are efficient, secured and standardized.
- Ensure Global embedding for Finance standards, alignment, best practices sharing and participate to Global Transformation efforts.
- Manage accounting department operations and providing Finance expertise.
- Build and maintain relationship with internal and external auditors.
Functie-eisen en profiel
Your profile
- A committed Christian with a passion for the persecuted church.
- Bachelor level in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Financial Controller or Head of Finance.
- Strong skills in ERP and Excel software, knowledge of Unit 4 software is a plus.
- Experience with payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work and lead cross culturally.
- Experience in INGO is preferred.
