For our office in Utrecht, PAX is searching for a Policy Advisor Learning & Knowledge Management for 32 hours per week.
As a Policy Advisor Learning & Knowledge Management you will play an integral role in shaping PAX's learning and knowledge management initiatives. This role will be responsible for contributing to PAX's learning goals and enhancing the quality of our work to ensure that we remain relevant in the ever-changing and complex field of peacebuilding and justice.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and supporting the implementation of the PAX Academy, a training facility for PAX staff and partners to enhance their professionalism;
- Being responsible for the development and implementation of the learning ambitions of the Strengthening Civil Courage Alliance;
- Advising on and supporting the planning, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (PMEL) process;
- Developing a policy for codifying and disseminating knowledge and skills of PAX; documentation and codification of PAX's methodologies, best practices, and results;
- Providing advice on the development and implementation of a knowledge management infrastructure.
We are seeking a candidate with:
- A Master's degree in Learning & Development in Organizations and/or Knowledge Management;
- Between 3-5 years of professional expertise in learning and/or knowledge management in an international NGO;
- A strong analytical understanding of peacebuilding and conflict transformation;
- Experience in using a broad array of tools and methodologies to facilitate learning and knowledge management;
- Endorsement of PAX’s mission and values;
- Eligibility to work in the EU.
We offer:

The position is scaled in salary scale 10 according to the PKN employment conditions and ranges from € 2.711,13 to € 4.533,85 gross for a full-time position of 36 hours per week depending on experience.
In addition, we provide an 8.3% year-end bonus, 8% holiday allowance, and full reimbursement for 2nd class public transport commuting costs.
