Aidsfonds vision is the end of AIDS in a world where all people affected by HIV and STIs have access to prevention, treatment, care and support. Working with Aidsfonds - Soa Aids Nederland, allows you to use and develop your skills in an environment with social relevance. Over 150 highly motivated people work at our office in Amsterdam. The Partnership to Inspire, Transform and Connect the HIV Response, PITCH, is a strategic partnership between Aidsfonds, Frontline AIDS, and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the Dialogue and Dissent funding mechanism. It aims to promote HIV prevention, human rights and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) with and for people most affected by HIV, including sex workers, people who use drugs, LGBT communities, and adolescent girls and young women. It also aims to build the capacity of community based organizations (CBOs) representing people living with and most affected by HIV to advocate for HIV prevention, treatment and care, human rights and SRHR including in the context of universal health coverage (UHC).

PITCH is a 5-year programme, 2016 -2020, involving over 80 partners, the majority of which are national or sub-national CBOs. Every effort has been made to ensure the sustainability of the work achieved through the programme, including through capacity building of partners. Indeed this has been one of the core goals of PITCH, reflected in the programme’s theory of change, as well as the monitoring, evaluation and learning framework, with measures relating to advocacy capacity, research and evidence, communications, M&E, and gender, as well as organisational development.
