Within the Programme Department, the Programme Strategy & Learning team is looking for a motivated intern Communication & Editor of knowledge products, with a key focus on the development of an Inspiration Toolkit on locally made resources, as part of our Early Identification and Intervention programme.
This is a paid intern position for 32 hours a week for a period of 4-6 months, starting in September (exact starting date can be discussed).

As an intern Communication & Editor of Knowledge Products, you will support the creation and improvement of visual knowledge materials, based on partners’ needs, with a strong focus on the Inspiration Toolkit.
Your tasks include:
- Defining target groups and use: clarifying for whom the toolkit is intended and how it will be used in collaboration with our local partner organisations
- Structuring and organising content together with our thematic leads on Inclusive Education &
- Rehabilitation and CBR/CBID.
- Coordinating input from partners and thematic leads.
- Editing and refining content under supervision, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Briefing and coordinating with the internal designer, responsible for visual design (e.g. Canva).
Supporting related communication materials such as online publications or website content.
You will report to the Programme Strategy & Learning Manager and the International Communication Adviser, and work closely within a multidisciplinary team.
The purpose of the Programme Strategy & Learning team is to develop and implement the programmatic strategy of the organisation, which has a central role in setting and meeting the organisational goals of Liliane Fonds.
Functie-eisen en profiel
- You are interested in international development, and education or early childhood development in low- and middle-income countries (through your studies or experience).
- Ideally you have experience working in resource limited settings. You have strong writing and editorial skills: you can structure, edit and simplify content for different audiences. You are comfortable working with different stakeholders and combining input from multiple sources.
- You are able to structure your own work, prioritise tasks and work independently when needed.
- You have an interest in both content and visuals and enjoy working with tools like Canva or similar design tools. You have good intercultural communication skills.
- You have an excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, at C1/C2 level. Dutch is a plus, but not required.
